License plates to support the 100 Club of Illinois thanks to Villivalam and Kelly law

SPRINGFIELD — Illinois residents will see a new license plate option featuring the 100 Club of Illinois thanks to a measure sponsored by State Senator Ram Villivalam.
“Supporting organizations that regularly give back to members of our community is important, especially when the organization uplifts residents through tragedy,” said Villivalam (D-Chicago). “This law will support the 100 Club of Illinois and their efforts to make sure when a family is faced with tragedy, they have the resources they need.”

SPRINGFIELD - State Senator Ram Villivalam championed a new law that will expand access to the Grant Program for Exonerated Persons that will now allow unused program benefits to be passed on to a child or spouse.
“Supporting access to education is crucial, as it expands opportunities to improve the future of people within our community,” said Villivalam (D-Chicago). “Wrongful convictions impact not only the individual, but also their families and loved ones. It is imperative that we look for ways to support them as well.”
